Departmental Exchanges

Several departments offer exchange programs for MIT students:

Course 2 Exchange at ETH Zurich (Switzerland)

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has an exchange program that allows two juniors to study at ETH Zurich each spring semester. For more information, contact Brandy Baker, Academic Administrator in Course 2, or Global Education.

Course 3 Exchange at the University of Oxford (UK)

Attend Oxford in the spring semester of your junior year or the fall semester of your senior year. You will be live in one of the universities historic colleges while at Oxford. For more information, contact Professor Linn Hobbs.

Course 3 and Course 22 Exchange at Imperial College London (UK)

Study at Imperial during the spring semester of your junior year. Course 3 students should contact Professor Linn Hobbs; Course 22 students should contact Professor Michael Short or Global Education.

Course 4 Exchanges at Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) or the University of Hong Kong

Enroll in an advanced-level studio at Delft University or the University of Hong Kong during the fall of your senior year. Learn more about eligibility and how to apply. For more information, contact Renee Caso.

Course 16 Exchange at the University of Pretoria (South Africa)

Course 16 juniors can study at the University of Pretoria during either the fall or spring terms. For more information, contact Professor Wesley Harris.

Course 17 Exchange at Sciences Po (France)

The Department of Political Science has an exchange program with Sciences Po in Paris, France. You do not need to be a political science major to apply. For more information, contact Global Education.
