MIT Career Services for Alumni

Our mission in working with MIT alumni/ae is to provide initial guidance and encourage self-management of career exploration with continued support from alumni association and/or external career counselors.  GECD provides MIT Alumni with access to select services.

Access to Jobs Listings and On Campus Recruiting

Careerbridge, GECD's career management system provides a searchable database of positions posted by hundreds of employers looking to hire MIT's students and recent alumni. To view positions and participate in on campus recruiting, login to CareerBridge.  First time users will need to register.

The MIT Alumni Office hosts an Alumni-to Alumni job board.

Workshops and Events

Workshops and events hosted by GECD are open to Alumni. Alumni are encouraged to explore the various resources on this website as well as the many services provided by MIT's Alumni Association.   

Career Appointments

MIT alumni who have graduated in the last 18 months:
Continue to use GECD Career Services (E39-305), and have access to the same services offered to current MIT students.  Please come to drop-ins, or schedule an appointment.

MIT alumni who are 19 months or more from their graduation year:
The MIT Alumni Association career counselor can help job-seeking alumni gain insight into their individual skills, interests, values, and personality traits - key factors in choosing a career or profession. Please visit the Association website for further information about this service.

MIT Prehealth Advising Services for Alumni

MIT Prehealth Advising services are available to both current students and MIT alumni.  Please review the Prehealth Advising information.  Call Prehealth Advising at 617-715-5328 to make an appointment.
