MIT Career Services for Alumni
Our mission in working with MIT alumni/ae is to provide initial guidance and encourage self-management of career exploration with continued support from alumni association and/or external career counselors. GECD provides MIT Alumni with access to select services.
Access to Jobs Listings and On Campus Recruiting
Careerbridge, GECD's career management system provides a searchable database of positions posted by hundreds of employers looking to hire MIT's students and recent alumni. To fiew positions and participate in on campus recruiting, login to CareerBridge. First time users will need to register.
The MIT Alumni Office hosts an Alumni-to Alumni job board.
Workshops and Events
Workshops and events hosted by GECD are open to Alumni. Alumni are encouraged to explore the various resources on this website as well as the many services provided by MIT's Alumni Association.
Career Appointments
Alumni who have graduated within the last 18 months are able to take advantage of the same services offered to current MIT students. Please stop in to drop-ins or schedule an appointment.
Alumni who are more than 18 months from graduation are charged an annual fee of $100 for access to basic career services including staff appointments for resume review, interviewing strategies, and basic job search questions.
Alumni who have paid the yearly fee can meet with our counseling staff up to three times per year (excluding the months of Sept. and Oct.).
If you are interested in accessing this service please fill out the Service Request Form and a Career Services staff member will contact you for a brief intake appointment. In the intake appointment, we will review the information you provided on the form and answer questions about services provided to alumni
